I'm looking for a new dirt bike....i weigh 135 any suggestions...i like trail riding best? For trail riding, probably Honda CRF230. Its a development from the 1970s 125 engine. A lot of the older XR185/200 parts can fit (or be adapted, exhaust, carb, cam, etc if you need more power in the future) Its as reliable as a rock. Other than that, the Suzuki DR200 has been around for a long time, but doesnt have as many tuning parts available i would start out with an 80 cc bike I'm 5'5", and weigh about 120. I have a Yamaha TTR 125 and love it. It's the best bike ever - easy to ride, you can pick it up if it drops over, it has a kick stand, and it's just plain cool. Good luck and have fun! try a pocket bike THEY ARE SO MUCH FUN!!!!!! Trail Riding I like my Yamaha XT225. XT225 has Electric Start and is street legal also for Dual Sport riding / touring. I'm 225 pounuds and have had mine on the Rubicon trail and commuted across the San Francisco ay bridge with it also. For heavier duty dirt riding I have a Honda XR650R but that is way more bike then you need. Get a Honda CRF230. It's the perfect trail bike! Yamaha YZ250F. |
