What could be wrong with a dirt bike that has spark, and compression but wont start up? bad or no fuel(plugged filter) needs gas... remove spark plug spray in a little gas and try again...check gas line and filter Two-stroke or four-stroke? fuel Hi DJ, You might have water in your gas tank,or you need to have your carburetor rebuilded. Clowmy Countless problems could exist.Fuel line. Carburetor clog. Air, fuel mixture not correct. Timing. Too many to list. See if you can find a Hayne's Trouble shooting guide to walk you through some of the more common problems. if you have compression and spark you have to have fuel. if you take out a plug and squirt a few drops of gas into spark hole , put plug back, try again. If it starts and dies you have fuel problems.If not it could be out of timing. |
