How do i get decals on my dirt bike without them bubbling? what's the best way to put grips on too?
before you apply make sure the surface is very clean and no grease or silicone (armor all - etc) is left on there - I clean with isopropyl alcohol....(make sure bike is cool - it can burn)
As long as the decals are vinyl, you can use a few drops of dish detergent in a spray bottle of soapy water mist the bike area and the back of the decal..this allows time for you to position the decals....then gently squeege out (i use a credit card) the soapy solution and allow to dry for a few hours.......
if the decals are paper based - dont do this...! it will mess them up....(most good decals are vinyl) |
