How much money is a nice used 250 dirt bike? |
i want to buy a 250 i don't want to spend more than 4000 i am 14 almost 15 155 pounds and 5,8" what one should i go with (would prefer honda or kawasaki close shop) i have 4 years of experience on a yamaha rt 100 and want to step up and want something that i can hit average sized jumps on 4000 will get you a pretty decent bike. I picked up 3 250 bikes for around 4000 recently.. a 2003 Kawi 250, and 2 2002 Honda Mod bikes. You can always find a 250 bike for under 4! Well Noe of the off road are 250 unless you get motocross, those are over 7000. You could get a 230 or 300 (the yamaha 250 is like 6,500. East Bay Motor Sports.com I see great bikes sell all the time for $2000-$3000... I would not be concerned with the year model of the machine, the important thing is how well the machine has been maintained... Unless you are a racer... any machine newer than '96 should be just fine... An older adult owned machine is a great way to save money... |
