Does it make someone dumb for washing their dirt bike?

No. Cleaning your machine after you get done I feel is very important. It's part of maintaining the machine.

A clean machine is easier to work on if needed.

You can spot problems easier if their not caked with a ton of crud over it. It is a lot easier to spot a oil or fluid leak when it isn't being constantly covered in dirt.

Less wear & tear on the machine. Dirt & mud is real abrasive. It's part of riding but there isn't a need to speed up the process of part failure because you didn't want to take the time to clean the machine.

No! Dirt bike doesn't mean it has to stay dirty, it just means you can ride it in the dirt or mud etc. but you don't have to keep it that way when its not in use. That's just like saying its dumb to wash your baseball uniform because you're gonna slide in dirt anyways ...hope that makes sense.
