I am looking to purchase a 1996 Honda CR500 Dirt Bike can anyone help.? Those who think the CR500 is uncontrollable haven't owned one. I have. They are actually easier to ride than a 250cc 2stroke as they have much more low-end grunt,you can lug them in any gear more. Also if you ride at the dunes they are the only way to go as sand sucks up power and they have plenty. Now if you crack the throttle open past your level of expertise then you will pay for it but that goes for just about any bike. Starting the bike is a different story. If you don't know the trick in this then you better learn before wailing away at it! help with what? pretty bulletproof bike, more bike than any man could need. The best help I can offer is the recommendation that you get a 250 or 4stroke, CR500s are ridiculous power and not usable in most situations. Heck the 250 has ridiculous power. This is why the 2-strock 500s sell so cheap. No one wants them. |
