I keep getting water in my oil it only happens when the overflow tube goes through a creek or mudpuddle or somthing does it
It could suck in some water if it is submerged for a lengthy period and the motor is running..you can shorten it a little bit. If you have a 4-stroke you need to check out www.thumpertalk.com..awesome site with all kinds of forums and information. might have water in your gas tank. The oil drain tube on my '97 motorcycle is plugged and held by metal band spring. I'll check the clear plastic tube usually a a few weeks when I do wet riding or rain conditions are heavy. I can see the small amount of grey/white milky crap after oil and water get mixed. Over the summer seasons riding I'll drain it 3or 4 times. But I always keep it plugged.
