How do i get my parents to let me get a dirt bike? |
i really want a Honda CRF 150 but they wont let me. How do i convince them to let me? Your parents are probably concerned about your safety. You should research the facts about the dangers of motorcycles, find out all you can about motorcycle safety and what you can do to reduce the danger. On a dirtbike you won't have to worry about car traffic etc, so it should be safer than a street bike and easier to convince them. Put together a practical argument and present it to your parents (calmly and with respect... you are trying to prove you're responsible, after all =P) In the meantime, if you don't have a job, get one and start saving up (If you're old enough). You need to prove you can be responsible with this. If they still say no, well, you're out of luck. You'll have to wait till you're old enough and buy one yourself. Source(s): Trying to convince my own parents at the moment... heh. Do you know how to ride a dirt bike? Do your parents know how to ride a dirt bike? If the answer to both questions is no, then they are likely worried about your safety and I doubt you will get the bike. Your parents are your authority. If they say no, then the answer is no. Use this time to get a job and save some money, then when you're old enough you can buy one yourself. Tell them that you have cancer and that your you've always wanted to have a dirt bike before you die. I bought mine and hid it at a friends house. I'm not 28years old and I still get yelled at when my parents see me on a motorcycle. Easy. Take up playing the bugle. With great enthusiasm. Practice every day - at home. A lot. They won't know the difference between good and bad; just a loud and vile noise. Let dirt bike negotiation begin.............. Continue aging until you are 21. |
