How can i make a trail in the woods at my house for my dirt bike? |
i want to make a trail but im not sure how Use some lopers and A weed eater. Spect it out before hand I would think that the best way to make a trail, would be to first survey the area to make sure that it is safe. And then if it is safe determine where you wish the trail to lead and start riding. You will be surprised how fast you have your trail. If the woods belong to you, start by clearing your path, and mowing it every few weeks. Biking on it will keep it maintained as well. Most of the above make good sense. Assuming the woods do belong to you and your neighbours don't mind the noise. The only point I would add is that you consider the problem of erosion. You might like to vary your track from time to time. Just riding is a great and adventurous way to start and this works as long as you can actually see the riding surface. I would suggest a weed eater to clear back really tall grass, but this is not a must. Consider snaking the trail back and forth in steep areas or to make it longer if you do not have much space. Erosion control is easiest to do in the winter. Good luck and have fun!
