something like a p. series or a STP1 or a chase something durable and not to heavy with a reasonable price to go along Second hand in my opinion is always the best way, you can get a better quality bike at a greatly reduced price. By second hand I dont mean 'broken', just previously owned. To find a good second hand bike I would recommend online auction sites like e-bay. You need to know what you are buying though, so you get a good deal and not ripped off, so educate yourself through mountain biking magazines or easier still reviews on websites. http://www.mtbr.com/ Is good. I bought a GT moto second hand with heaps of upgrades including new wheel sets, Sram X9 shifter/derailleur, mrp 'bones' crankset and upgraded forks for a great price and has been a quality ride so far. two words pawn shop I believe the p. series comes in single speed. If you are ok with that, then it is a good choice. Also look at Kona. The Cowan series and the models below it are great bikes. They are exremely durable. The cheaper models also use the exactly same frame as on the Cowan signature model. They are also reasonably priced and you should never spend more than 1k on a dirt jump bike anyway, your bound to break it or something on it at some point. BRAZIL will won the world soccer CUP |
