My dirt bikes back breaks dont work? |
My dirt bike has rear hydraulic disk breaks. The other day they worked fine and when i went to ride today they didn't work. Any ideas how to fix?? Bleed them. Maybe the master cylinder ran out of brake fluid (when the brake pads ware down, the brake fluid in the master cylinder goes into the calliper to take up the space). Add brake fluid to the master cylinder, to the top line. Then bleed the brakes. http://www.motocom.com/motorcycles/... Take it to a mechanic. Hydraulics are pretty simple, do a visual inspection for leaks, make sure the master cylinder is full, then bleed the system. hmm...if you're asking this question its probably not a good idea for you to do them... an easy solution could be checking your fluid levels...and top up the resevoir if it needs it... an easy way to firm up fluid is to leave a bungee on the lever over night...works a treat |
