How come my bike makes a clicking sound when I pedal?


Its a espn black xgames bike not the dirt bike looking one and the sound comes from the back of the bike.

could be the chain and the gears not mesh up well. just small adjustments needs to be done.

Remove rear wheel and re-set
That is just the sound of the gear catch making sure your chain is in the correct position.

try changing the gears up and down back there, and see if it goes away. The chain may not be fully seated in the gear you're using. Also, see if there is any lube on the chain. Chain lube is sold at bike shops and some dept stores (no, motor oil is NOT chain lube)
You need to take the playing card out of the spokes. Just disconnect the clothes pin.
