2000 VFR800 Is this a good bike how does it compare to a yzf or a r1 or gsx or gsxr? |
First crotch rocket but have ridding dirt bike for many years I want something that will perform in the city like passing and corners. I am 175 lbs Help Thank you excellent machine. far more usable on the road and more comfortable to ride honstly, unless you can ride to the point where you actually wear to the edge of your tyres when you lean and you can comfortably compression lock into a corner with the back end hanging out, you're not going to be able to ride the R1 better than you ride the vfr. The good thing about the VFR is the insurance is considerably less than the others, it is a v four, producing more usable grunt throughout the rev range. And it comes with panniers which are always handy. Honestly, if i got on a vfr800 there is probably about 1 out 1000 r1 riders that could beat me through a mountain range Buy it! Grunty, comfortable, very useable in all situations and it will last for ever....its a Honda! |
