Whats the diffirence in these 2 dirt bikes.? |
hey can some one tell me the basic diffirence in the -yamaha 125 ttr- and the -yamaha 125 yz- thank you. TTR = Off road 4-stroke bike. Considered 'midsize' meaning, it's got smaller wheels and a lower seat height. Target rider is beginning to intermediate person up to about 5' 4" in height. Very smooth power, reliable, easy to ride. Because of softer suspension and less power, not good for freestyle, motocross and supercross. Easy to maintain. YZ = Professional Motocross bike. 2-stroke. Full Size bike for advanced riders 5'5" and taller. Explosive power, excellent suspension and handling in the right hands. Designed for Freestyle, motocross, or supercross tracks (yes, it can be ridden on trails, but by an experienced rider). More maintenance required. Bottom line? The YZ has almost THREE TIMES the power of the TTR. Sort of like comparing a kids tricycle to Lance Armstrong's race bicycle :) the ttr is an off-road bike. which means it is a four stroke. the yz is a motocross bike-- 2 stroke. 2 strokes have more power, are used for racing, and are much louder... also the ttr is probably considerably smaller than the yz. hope i helped!!!!!!!!!!! ((personally i would go with the yz)) been riding dirt bikes since i was 5 i don't know..but they are loud and obnoxious..do us all a favor and don't bother getting one. ttr and the other is yz the yammaha ttr 125 is a 4 stoke trail bike. made for woods. i road one two weeks ago and its got tons of power. the yz 125 is a 2 stroke for racing and is going to be a lot more expensive. If you want to go fast get a yz. If you want to catch a nap while riding get a ttr. |
