On ebay saw cheap motorcycles, called "pit" bikes. The are new and cheap dirt bikes. Are they worth t money? I love all motorcycles let me tell you .these bikes are not worth it .they break down alot made from china with cheap parts i would go to a dealer like honda,suzuki,kawasaki or yamaha and buy a little 50cc dirt bike for a grand in the long run you will save alot of money and time .thanks have a good day Source(s): motorcycle mech I trust ebay, cause i use half.com. same thing. So yeah it prob would be worth it. Just be careful, i don't trust motorcycles. My mom saw a guy die right in front of her, he was a cop he was off duty and was drunk, he drove a red light hit a car with a woman and her kids inside, and his head hit the back of her car, and cut his head, he died on inpact. Be careful please! Love pamela ;) like they say, you get what you pay for. those pit bikes are cheap, and fussy. IMO, you would be beeter off buying a mini bike with a good old fashioned 4 stroke 3hp engine. see www.kartworld.com they sell diy kits, and complete bikes. no affiliation with them. In my experience with motorcycles (35 yrs), cheap bikes run like crap, and break, then you can't sell them, cuz they're not worth anything. Save up and buy a decent used Honda, Suz, Kaw, or Yamaha. You'll then have a good bike. A pit bike is really a bike that is used more for easy transportation at events like car shows and auto races. They are not to be used for anything else really. You will notice that pit bikes have small engines usually. Many people will restore Cushmans to use as pit bikes or will buy smaller Japanese bikes. |
