thomaston dam, it is legal and the season opens from May 1 to October 14. You just need your dirt bike to be registered, take it to the town hall with the title (i think it is the DMV) this is the website for Thomaston Dam: http://www.nae.usace.army.mil/recreati/t...
It is AWESOME there is tons of trails for beginners to experts. There is also a track. But it is sometimes closed if there was alot of rain so check the website before you go.

Thomaston Dam is located in Thomaston, Connecticut, easily accessible from Route 8. Take Route 8 North to exit 39, take a left on East Main Street, at the traffic light take a right onto North Main, 2 miles north, take a right onto Route 222. The Dam is 1/2 mile ahead on your left.

From Route 8 South Take exit 40, take a left onto North Main Street, 1/2 mile take a right onto Route 222. The Dam is 1/2 mile ahead on your left.
