Please help? my dog might get hurt.............? |
everytime i get on a dirt bike or 4 wheeler,my dog goes crazy,jumps on the cage and almost over it ,im afraid he;ll get hurt doing that.iv tryed everything from,makeing him ride on it with me,me chasing him,but he always thinks thats a game and just chases me back and attaks the tire,,even poped one once. how can i stop my dog from chasing 4 wheelers and dirt bikes. You must absolutely restrain your dog - inside or in an enclosed yard, or with a leash, because he WILL get hurt or killed if he keeps that up. You need to take obedience classes with your dog to teach him manners and how to behave. Petco schedules them sometimes or you can ask your vet for a reference to a dog trainer who gives classes. They are not expensive, fun for you and the dog, will socialize your dog and teach him obedience and teach you how to handle and train your dog. Good luck - and do something fast before your dog gets hurt. first remove it out of the cage and tell it nicely that u shudnt do so.....dogs can understand even if they pretend they cannot....u have not mentioned ur dog's age so....maybe if it's too old u should consult the vet! good luck coolgal Tie up your dog with a restraint, or consult a dog trainer. Try to tie a tarp over the top of the cage. It will also give him shade. You need to train him not to do it or keep him confined. |
