What should I say? |
My fiance asked me if he could either race with either stock cars or dirt bike. I asked him why and he told me that he wanted to bring in the extra money so that when we do move in together that we don't have struggle. He says that he wants me to live the life like I ought to and not have to work. I am willing to work a full time job to support the both of us. He says that he can get a sponsor for either one and that they are going to supply him with a dirt bike (or) he has to go and get his own car to race. I don't really want him to because even though there is some good to come out of it if I let him, there is still a lot of bad things that could happen too. Like the injuries, surgeries possibly, and even death. I need some serious advice...please help me...what should I tell him? You should ask him not to do it. because unless his heart and sole is in stock car/dirt bike racing he wont be that into doing this anyways. You should just reassure him that you'll do fine without this extra money. Because god forbid, he gets paralyzed or something like that! and then all this extra money that it got you will go down the drain! So unless he definitely wants to, ask him not to race. and you take up the full-time job. Good luck. talk to him seriously... consider all the facts and tell him that you are afraid that something could happen. Try to find another solution TOEGATHER! |
