Its my grandson's 11th birthday. is $20 a suitable gift, since he is saving up to buy an expensive toy? |
His parents give him almost everything he asks for, He's got 3 skate boards, 2 different kinds of bikes, a quad, a dirt bike, roller blades and most of the xbox and gameboy games out. So he really wants nothing except a bigger ramp to bike and skate over. I really can't buy him anything, except his christmas present. but that is in 2 months. so, is $20 an acceptable gift? $20.00 Is just fine.It`s the love and guidance that you give him year round that he will always remember.Not the gifts you got him at certain ages in his life. $20 is a huge amount of money when your 11 so Im sure it will be appreciated, especially if hes saving up to buy a ramp. 11 year olds love to get their own cash. I think it's a perfect amount. $20 is perfectly acceptable gift for an 11 year olds birthday.If you can't afford it then just send him a nice card.Having loving grandparents should be gift enough. That is quite acceptable! Don't feel as if you need to over extend yourself. If he loves you for who you are and not what you can give him then it really won't matter. Yeah $20 is a big deal to an 11 year old, plus every bit helps when your saving for that big toy!! I'm sure he will appreciate it along w/ an awesome Chritmas gift. What a lucky grandson!! i think it's a good number,don't worry,it will make him very happy |
