Help URGENT About My Motorbikeeeeee? |
I'm 18 years old, My father owns a field. I just brought a 125cc Dirt bike. Its not a big one, its a small one I've riden loads of twist and go motorbikes. But never a manual bike? Can someone help me? Either add me on MSN: greezeboy@hotmail.co.uk Or post here and leave feedback and help me on some tips? or tell me some websites. I want to learn it by myself. Not with learners Thank-you for understanding. Sorry if in wrong topic aswell :P The gearing is 1 down and 4 up typically. First geer is down all the way and then up to neutral and then up to ssecond and so on. Keep clicking down until it stops and then up one and you should be able to freely move the bike without the clucth in. Once you get the gears down, it's all in the clutch. Ease it out and give it some gas. I'm sure you will stall it a few times but you get the hang of it after a few. First gear is the hardest as you are starting from a dead stop and the torque is higher. The rest of the gears are easy because you are already moving. Just remember to pull in the clutch when you stop and shift back to neutral or first. No too tough. Dude, the gear pattern is one down, 3 up, or 4 up it depends on the bike. Hold the clutch, keep pushing the shifter down until you get in first gear. Just give it a little gas, slowly let off the clutch, if you feel the bike dying, then give it a tad more gas. then after you get going (go slow) you will notice the engine getting to it rev point, then simply let off the gas, push down the clutch and TADA you are in second gear. The rest it trial and error. Go slow, be care, were your helmets and protective gear. Good luck. Try posting in the Motorcycle category sugar (under Cars & Transportation). I ride a motorcycle but I'm not qualified to tell someone else how to. I haven't been doing it THAT long. 鈽?br /> Good luck...be safe! |
