How do i become a millionair? |
besides the lottery :) cause thats not working to well for me so far im 15 years old and work for my grandmother on the weekends for about 40$ a day. i dont need any extra money really becuse when i go out with my friends and stuff my parents usually foot the bill (very nice of them dont ya think?) but i mainly work to buy toys for me (like dirt bikes and other things that cost quite a bit...mall trips..you know). and i have to have the money because all repairs needed for my "toys" i have to do myself and i have to pay for the parts, the oil and gas, etc. etc. well currently i have only 25$ to my name and im sure my beloved bike is due for a refill in the very near future...so we mine as well subtract about 7 dollars for that. so how can i start off with about 18 dollars and some change i randomly pick up and throw in a jar- and turn that in to a million by the time im say....18?? lol any advice would be great :) thanks bunches jess You need to reduce your spending or increase your income and save the difference. You spending already seems pretty low (I mean you could cut down on the toys a bit, but sounds like you are not spending that much even with this) so I'd look to increasing income. Maybe get a 2nd job or one paying more, and save the extra in a bank account. Thats really just teh first step, investing the money (once you have some) is the other part, but save money and invest it well and with compound interest you'll probably get there eventually. Note that being a successful entrepeneur would also be great (ie running your own business) but thats an advanced step and not really required. Check out the book "The Millionaire Next Door" or its sequel "The Millionaire Mind" (stick with the 1st one if you only read one) if you want more info. save money. nothing spened at all! jsut feed for urself. having a life and the means to live it are not entirely two different things in fact you need money to buy food last I checked, and shelter..now get yourself a job :) next year you can go for jobcorps if your that desperate for work..work your butt off ;) you can get your diploma early..i would do it You could become a millionaire in 3 years but the odds might be better of hitting the lottery yet you never know. Do you have skills that could get you a million dollar record deal, sports contract or acting gig in a major motion picture??? You could try to brainstorm business ideas (that's how most millionaires get wealth) but you'll have to stick to your plan. You can be a success but your best bet is to hang out with and copy those you'd like to be like. Try to network with the rich and learn from them. There are lots of library books with the secrets to getting rich. Many of the points are not really secrets... save, spend less than you earn and believe in yourself. hmm really you want to be a millionaire too? haha i support that i want that too but i dont do anything either and i have no money at all so your starting off better than me but oh hey you should come down today if you would be allowed we are going to be cooking out later and we might be outside but it wont be til around 6:00 or 7:00 though but anyways you can call me later or you can go to my profile and send me a email back thanks bye oh and btw sorry i dont know how to become a millionaire by the age of 18 so when y ou get your answers you should share them with me! haha bye! |
