how do u know when to change your spark plug in a 125cc dirt bike Check the "born on" date. OH SORRY that's for beer not plugs....... When it does not start or runs crappy. When it turns red. Spark plugs never ware out. Spark plugs with today's standards will last the life of the bike. When the plug gets fouled from the piston & rings waring out, change it. They're cheap enough. Just for peace of mind, I change the plug on my CR250 at the beginning of each riding season. my dr-z 125 has gone through 3 in 2 years.. my advice is if it doesnt start wire brush it and try again if it doesnt start agian get a few spares |
