How can I tame the guy I'm dating? |
He's an adrenaline junkie. He has a dirt bike, a quad, and he just bought a crotch rocket (a smaller motorcyle specifically made for racing or going really fast) without his parents' permission. I'm kind of upset that he did this.. his parents wouldnt let him buy one because his aunt died from a motorcycle accident. But he bought it anyway! He keeps it at his work and won't let his parents find out about it. If they do find out, they would kick him out of the house! Besides this, he has done a lot of illegal stuff just to be rebellious I think. Mainly this includes using his sisters id bracelet to drink at bars, driving home when he was drunk, etc..he doesn't care that it's wrong, he'll just do it. Hes my age (19)..Other than this he is a really nice guy, I just think that if he doesn't respect certain people in his life, like his parents, he might not respect me. Is there any way I can get him to be more repectful of the law and of his parents? Should I talk to him about it? well it could just be a phase. hee hee im like that, i love doing bad thing and not getting caught, it's just a huge adrenaline rush....:P :D. Do you want him to change because you are worried about him? cuz thats the only reason you should make him change, if you simply don't like it, then you should just break up with him. YOU CAN'T A relationship is not about making the other person change, its about accepting their faults. If you can't accept him for all of him (good, bad, ugly), then don't date him anymore. If he wanted to make you change would you? He is not a horse and you will never be able to tame him. Why would you want to do that? You don't love him for who he is, if you did, you would accept him the way he is, or try to help him, not tame him. He is acting like he has a lot of issues. Rebellion is a way to try to catch someone's attention for some reason. There is a "why" and no one is focusing on the story behind so much bad behaviour. That's women for you. They like you for who you are, then try to change you to whatever suits their needs. |
