Needed: Dirt-cheap/2nd-hand bicycle in Des Moines.? |
Anyone? I'll be moving there as an undergrad soon and I need some form of transport without destroying my wallet. Preferably if there are any lying around in those large 2nd hand stores, those'll be great. If used bikes are not an option can someone give me a rough estimate as to how much a really cheap bicycle is, and any stores around the Drake University area, thanks. P.S. No I don't want to drive. A car is out of my financial range. A second-hand bicycle should be very easy to pick up relatively cheaply. The Uni will have bulletin boards, there will be yard sales, second hand stores and the local paper's classifieds. I did a search for you in the classifieds of the Des Moines Register and came up with just one at a yard sale. Another option for you is the: Auction Outlet, located at: 119 Columbus Avenue, Des Moines, It deals with goods from Flea Markets, Resale Second Hand & Used Merchandise Stores, Antique stores etc. |
