Which dirtbike should i get??? |
Hey i want to get a new dirt bike thats used. I really like the ones from the 90's. wat should i get a honda yamaha kawasaki suzuki?? I really like the yamahas but i just need a really fast one. I have an 81 honda xl80 that runs 60mph. i need a faster dirtbike any suggestions. A dirtbike over 10 years old..... Just get the one that's in the best condition, the make doesn't really matter when they're that old. You need more speed? get a 125 or 250cc two stroke rather than an 80cc 4 stroke. Be prepared for a hell of a difference to your current machine. (If you want REALLY fast, get a 500cc 2 stroke. R.I.P.) 97 CR250 a 1997 honda cr250 is NOT what you want. that was the first year of their aluminum frame and it was too stiff and very hard to ride smoothly. jeremy mcgrath raced a '96 model frame for at least two seasons instead of racing the aluminum one. buy a 125cc two stroke in the nicest shape you can find/afford. btw your 81 honda xl80 would be lucky to go 50. a nice 125 will go 75 if geared right. are you riding motocross or hare scrambles or just goofing around? good luck! |
