Do you get a gallon when you pay for a gallon? |
i bought exactly 5 gallons of gas the other day for my dirt bike. the attendant pumped exactly 5 gallons according to the pump display. my gas can is a high quality race container with metric and standard measurements. it is a 5 gallon capacity can. the gas that i paid for was about 4-5 inches short of reaching the 5 gallon line on the can. do gas stations give you a little less than what you pay for? or is my can missmarked? Sometimes the gas can has a little more space in it for expansion; however, most likely your suspicions are correct and the sleezeball gas station is ripping you off. Think about how many other people are suffering the same fate. A couple of liquid ounces of gas can add up to tens of thousands of dollars over a week, depending on the volume dispensed over a week of course. nope u got conned why would you believe ME! lol You never get what you pay for:in the hose is the rest. Sky Well if you paid for 5 gallons then you should have gotten 5 gallons. You got ripped off. Report them!!!!!! Nope. It's them crooked Bastards!!! If I were you I would call the news and the better business bureau |
