Are the Zong Shen dirt bike engines any good? Specifically the 250cc.
Sounds like a Chinese knock off to me. Any Chinese knock off is probably not worth buying for the simple fact of lesser quality. Chinese bikes are notorious for for breaking down not long after you buy it, and then you are stuck with fixing it, which brings up another problem, trying to find somebody to work on it. Most, but not all, stores that sell these knock offs don't even work on the products that they sell. If it were me I would stick with any of the Japanese bikes, or KTM, but then the price of the Zong Shen will probably start looking pretty good. If you just want a bike that you can play around on and not worry about messing up and beating the ever living crap out of then buy the Zong, but don't be surprised when something messes up and can't be fixed.
