Motorcross! Yeah! HELP..... Don't know what to do!? |
I'm a girl. I REALLY want to get into motorcross! I have know idea how to. Or evan where to start. It sounds like so much fun! I have know idea what kind of dirt bikes there are, or even what the basic parts of a uniform for motorcross is. Please tell me everything I need to know, or get possibly leave a link. I'm a girl and I'm into quad racing. There is nothing wrong with a girl liking these sports. Here are a few sites that might be helpful to you. Have fun with your new hobby! http://www.motocross.com/ http://www.wml-mx.com/ http://powersports.honda.com/ The best way to start would be to buy a small used dirtbike, get all of your protective gear, and find a very experienced rider to give you lessons. Go to your local motorcycle shop and ask the guys there what they would reccomend for a first bike based on your size. Motocross is very physically demanding. You need to be in GREAT SHAPE. You have to have physical strength, good tone, and stamina. It will take a lot of riding and working out to get to a competative ability. If you are willing to put in the effort it will require then go for it. Go to your local motorcycle shop for the gear or look in the papers for a used bike cheap that comes with all the gear. You'll need a bike, helmet, gloves goggles boots, pants, a jersey and if you're serious a chest protector. If u really want to ride a Bike then go for it girl its great and lots of fun but if u know how to ride a bicycle then of course u can ride a motor bike its easy just learn how to change gears and when .. have fun |
