The Jeep Scrambler is a classic. Should the new Wrangler Unlimited be a starting point for a new Scrambler? |
Check ebay and see what Jeep Scramblers go for! A new Scrambler would be a hit and the new longer wheelbase 4-door Wrangler Unlimited would seem like an easy conversion. Just keep the front doors and convert the back half into a truck bed. In no time Chrysler will see these things loaded up with dirt bikes, ATVs and all manner of outdoor gear. Have you seen a Brute conversion? Check out American Expedition Vehicles or AEV and look at the conversion kit they have. You can take a Wrangler you already have and convert it to a Scrambler looking vehicle for around $9000. I found a place to get a half-hardtop for the 2-door Unlimited ('04-'06).
