Twisted fork help?

I was offroading with my 1200gs without dirt tires so my front tire planted in puddle of soft mud. The front tire is cocked to the left and when I drove it home I could feel the shocks catching like I had a dent in my front tire. I checked the wheel and there was no dent. Is it possible to release the middle segment that holds the fork in the middle to the bike, re-align the tire and tighten everything up. Whats the best next step for this bike?

Just loosening the triple clamps won't do the trick. You also need to loosen the axle. Many times once you do that it will spring itself back into place.
slacken everything of in the front end...

pull it back straight...tighten it up

It may have slipped when you planted the wheel

if that dosnt help....replace the bent bits....
Loosen the middle and upper clamps on the forks and try to straighten them. The tubes may be bent, in which case you'll need new ones.
