Riding a bike without hands? |
i dont know why i just cant do it Practice makes perfect. You can't do it, because you shouldn't do it. I know it looks like fun, sailing along with arms outstretched as if flying into the sunset....but it's all fun and games until you hit that soft sand, lose control, fall over, and your head gets run over by an 18 wheeler (whose driver is trying to learn how to drive the truck with no hands on his steering wheel). brain bucket, or not, 18 wheelers do a number on your head. Cycling is a fun sport/excersize, but it can be awfully dangerous. Keep your hands on the handlebars. You can do it. Sometimes during long bike rides it helps to stretch out. While going slightly down hill (not pedaling) take your hands an inch of the handlebar and then further when your comfortable. It's not the safest thing in the world though. Best to keep the hands on the bike. just get enough speed in a place where nothing else can whack u off your bike and then just slowly let go of the handle bars...if u feel comfortable enough hold your hands up but u have to be going pretty fast |
