Which mountain bike is better Scott VS Cannondale?

Im debating between a Scott Aspect 45 Bike ~Or~ a Cannondale F4 CO2. which one is lighter and better overall bike?? I can get either for the same price. so thats why im debating

As a Cannondale dealer, I of course would have to say Cannondale.
BUT
The reason why we are a Cannondale dealer is because they are better than Scotts. ;)

We've dealt with both companies over the past 20 years, and Cannondale is the much better buy for your dollar, hands down. More company support, better manufacturing and design, better value retention over time due to the strength of their oversize tubing, and better name recognition.

I don't know about Scott's policy, but Cannondale truly emphasizes the whole "Handmade in USA" thing on their pricier bikes. I've seen where they are made, and this adds to the quality.

I prefer Cannondale as a whole. Maybe Scott will be lighter, I don't know about those models, but sometimes they might sacrifice something for weight, where I think Cannondale makes sturdier frames.

I think that both of those bikes are made in Taiwan, if made in the USA matters to you.

Cannondale CO2 frames are made in Taiwan, while most of their full suspension ones are made in the USA.

Anyway, Nikki is very right by advising you to test ride them both, most of the time fit is the more important aspect when selecting bikes.

Your best bet is to ride them both & see which one you like, especially if the prices are the same. And see if you can get the dealer to throw in some extras for one or the other.

Cannondale
