Jagwire products - any good? |
I'm building up a new frame and I want to know if it is worth it to track down jagwire products for my shifter cables and for my disc brake cables (avid mechanicals). tough to decide a best answer. I am going to rephrase this one with some more specific details. a second chance perhaps. They came stock on my Greenspeed. 1 year later, 4.5k miles, not a hint of a problem. Smooth as glass, stretched once when new and not another adjustment, still look brand new. I agree with Mirage. Also, Jagwire is the OEM supplier of cables and many special little housing fittings for many manufactuers. Your shop can order them from any distributor, or you can buy them online easily at places like http://www.jensonusa.com , http://www.blueskycycling.com , or http://www.pricepoint.com Jagwire cables and housing are the best stuff out there. They have a larger variety of cables and housings than any company I can think of. their good but are quite pricey as compared to other brands the normal shimano ones should work well enough unless your a pro a demand a certain weight limit |
