i am 14 and i learnt how to ride a bike all by my self, horrraaaaaaayyyy Well done you, fantastic achievement. Cycling is great for helping to get your lungs in shape by breathing correctly,and will tone the legs,so keep at it.But it will not really help to lose weight.Only half the body is active,so it's half as good as,say,running. well congradulation's on riding a bike! Losing weight on 3 miles (6 two-way) daily will take a while; just make sure you eat properly and keep a consistent face pace when pedaling. And make sure to drink water and control your eating habits. Get a bigger saddle if its hurting your back side, you dont want to get saddle sore ouch. you lose weight from all over and tone up especially if you go up a lot of hills, you can get cycling gloves and a gel saddle to help you |
