BMX Bike! When i pedal it wont run after a few pedals it rolls but does it again less than 30sec!What is it?

Its a "NEXT" Bike. When i pedal it after a few pettles the bike goes but then when its rolling it moves the pedals according to the speed of the bike. Is not the chain! But i think what holds the chain. What could it be? And where can i buy parts to fix it? Well thats my brother in law's bike and he let me borrow it and i messed it up, i told him ill fix it if i caint i will have to buy him a new one! 10Points 4 Best Answer!!!

sounds like the freewheel in the rear hub is the problem. try a bike shop you may be better off replacing the whole wheel. depending on price. you don't need a new bike that one is fixable.

DUDE!! you need a new hub!! Just take it to any bike shop,they will fix it.It might be cheaper to buy a completely new bike!!
