Need some help on choosing the right bike for me? |
So am going to get a bike but, not sure what kind I need. I am going to be using it for 10 + miles and on and off road. Thanks! First, figure out how much you want to spend. Go to your local bike shop and tell them where and how you want to ride as well as your budget. They are qualified to match you up with the bike that best meets all your needs. Test ride that bike. Then go to other shops and test ride what they have to offer. One bike will fit you better and feel better than the others. You'll be able to tell this very quickly after sitting on the saddle and test riding for a few minutes. Buy that bike because it is the one you will enjoy the most. Don't get hung up on brand names. The bike business is so competitive that any two bikes at the same price point are very likely to be equivalent values. |
