Greatest female cyclists/mtb'ers?

I need a good female cyclist role model. Ha..

Jeanie Longo- France, Several World titles on the track and road.
Connie Carpenter-Phinney - US, 84 Olympic Gold Meadalist.
Rebecca Twigg - US, 84 Silver Meadalist Road, 92 Gold Pursuit, 6 World Titles Pursuit.
Julia Furtado- US, World Title XC.
Leontien van Moorsel - Dutch, 9 World titles and 6 Olympic Medals on road and track. Best know for model looks and showing up at starting line in full makeup, which looked like hell after 15 minutes of racing.

Cindy Whitehead was the first name that sprung into my mind. Very good rider many years ago, i expect she can still ride well now also.

Jenie Longo of france. when women's cycling was first starting, she was winning everything. she has been called the eddy merxx of women's cycling.

of course connie carpenter-phinny comes to mind too, and i've even ridden with her and her husband. good people.

Don't forget about Sue Novara. Sue and Shelia Young, both from the great stare of Michigan, riding for the premiere cycling club, the Wolverines, dueled though the '70s on the track. Sue has several world championships under her belt.
