Where and when is the best place and time to buy a bicycle in Toronto? Hey... I work at a shop in toronto. The two best times are at the two Toronto International Bike Shows. 1. Saturday, October 13th - Direct Energy Center: In the fall, same weekend as the ski show weekend usually, there is a bike show at the ex. This is where a lot of vendors try and get rid of tons of inventory to make way for 08. 2. Beginning of March - same place In the spring, this is the last chance for shops to clear out old inventory... huge discounts!!! With bike shows, you kind of need to know what you want in advance, and be warned: many people WILL DO ANYTHING to make a sale!!! Other than that, late fall, winter and 07 stuff in the spring are decent times.
