I have a Bolens Riding Mower model 2136.How do I tighten the drive chain ?

There should be an idler about halfway down the chain with a slotted adjustment. Loosen the bolt, push the idler until the chain is tight, and retighten the bolt.

The idler might even be spring loaded, so all you have to do is loosen, then retighten, the bolt.
