What does COMP means in SPECIALIZED HARDROCK COMP?? |
I wonder what does it mean coz it have also in ROCKHOPPER.. tnx guys The whole truth and nothing but the truth. For Specialized, it, is the componant grouppo picked to spec the bike with. Good level to start, you can upgrade to expert or pro parts as they wear out. Or even my favorite, s-works. Only bad thing about a specialized is you wont be happy with any other brand. Competition Model. It usually has better installed options than the base model. Some of the other models also have an expert and pro set of options installed as well. When you play in a casino alot, they "comp" you. Which means, if you gamble at their hotel frequently, they'll pay for you to stay there, and you can do stuff like order room service, use their spa, eat in their restaurants, etc. It's a point system. The more you gamble, the more points they give you. The more points you get, the more luxuries you can recieve, for free. (When you eat in their restaurant, they might just give you a discount, probably not for free.) Composition maybe? the best example i can give you is with the sixsixone comp and pro helmet comp stands for competition and that means that you use it once and then you get rid of it.at the helmet you can't take apart the interior and wash it.i think that comp means the same thing depends on the context. comp can mean competition as in competition model, or it can mean composite as in non metalic, nylon or carbon |
