Tesco bike computer-confused? |
Can someone look at http://direct.tesco. com/q/R.100-6555.aspx (without the space betweeen tesco. and com) and help. I have the two pieces and dont know what to do with them-there are no instructions. Do I just attach the silver bit or put the black bit somewhere...etc. Thank you Hey, The silver little bit attaches to a spoke on the front wheel the black piece is held on with zip-ties to the front fork. You want between 1-3 mm's between the two pieces, so the reader can sense the magnet. This is how everything is read. You might need to find online instructions to set the computer though... good luck Source(s): work in a bike shop I take it you know the display goes on the handlebars. The little silver thing is the magnet that is attached to a spoke, about 4" from the hub. The other part is the pickup that is mounted on the fork. The pickup should be mounted so it lines up with about 4mm clearance from the magnet as it goes by as the wheel turns. |
