Can you review this bike ? |
Just had my favorite bike, diamondback response, stolen. I dont have the cash to buy another diamondback and am gonna get a cheap Huffy Alpine . http://www.sportchalet.com/product/index... Could you tell me if this is going to be okay ? Or is it really just a waste of cash ? I wouldn't waste my money if I was you. Absolute Junk. I'm really sorry that your bike got stolen. I would save up a few hundred dollars more and start looking on eBay, and craigslist. A good, new bike is going to cost you between 400-500 bucks, and that's for something "entry level". There are some good single speed, and fixed gear bikes that you can purchase brand new for pretty reasonable (Bianchi San Jose, Redline 925, Swobo Sanchez, etc.). It's pretty amazing what you can get when you pay a little extra. No, I'm afraid that the Huffy is NOT going to be ok. It may be better than walking, but only for a little while. If anything, take your hundred bucks and buy a really good bike lock, so next time there won't be a next time. Good Luck. it's a good price it's a cool bike??? You are way wasting your money. Please don't do it. I am duty bound to save you from this awful fate. Nothing to much , for less money you will have less music . You get what you pay for but even cheap bike properly adjusted for commuting is better then walking . Feel sorry for you and I wish to thief that something really bad happened to him . compared to what you had ... a waste of money. besides it's just enough bling to get it noticed by thieves too. go used and something more subtle for your area. nah man that bike is rather heavy truly i guess it matter on what you are doing with it...i downhill/free ride and xc race so that bike would not be in my garage but huffy do make decent bike and it could be a good temporary bike |
