What should I use to put new grips on? |
soap sucks so don't reccomend it I use mineral spirits....Make sure you put your doublesided tape on first, coat it with the zip strip, then spray some inside the grip and shake it around a bit....your grips will go on ultra smooth :) Be careful because it's flammable and toxic.... Good luck! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/mineral_spi... We used to use hairspray. Try it, works great and will never slip. Rubbing alcohol, Slips on and drys very quickly. I preffer ODI lock-ons. Work at a shop, Recommended by most manufacturers Best is compressed air . Hey, Use hot water and the rubber will 'relax' and become easier to work with. Your grips will slide right on and the excess water will dry out fairly quickly (an hour or so). Hope this helps |
