I was given an classic Bonsai BMX frame in a lime green color. I haven't done BMX in MANY years and don't remember. Were they good frames? Were they known? I'm thinking of selling it as an auction if they were at least decent frames if not, just building it up lightly and giving it to one of my nephews.
build it up n give it to family, but you make sure he has a sit-down with you, and tell him how important it is to keep gifts of that nature, and not sell it. im 29 years old, and ive found that people who buy old bikes now are just collectors....bikes was made to ride, not be in storage. i just got ahold of an old school GT PERFORMER, i wanted tha PRO PERFORMER but they are so damn hard to find. do tha kids a favor n pass on a legacy man.....
p.s. selling an old bmx frame is pointless anyhow, you wont get anywhere near what it was ever worth.....like i said: collectors are just tradin these older bikes like baseball cards now.... |
