What is the longest Bicycle ride from one place to another? No bike races match long tours. There are many all over the world covering all of Europe, Australia, US, South America. You didn't qualify you question. Maybe you meant 1 day? Or a regular or yearly event? Special events, one man or small groups do very long rides. Several people have cycled around the world. RAM is from the east coast to the west as fast as you can with breaks as you need them, otherwise not stopping. Every year there is the Tour de France (www.letour.com) which is about 2200 miles, the Race Across America (www.raceacrossamerica.org) which is over 3000 miles, there are also numerous 12 & 24 hour races, where riders routinely do over 400 miles in 24 hours.
