Is it any harder to do a bunny hop on gravel, and also i need tips on how to do a bunny hop? |
Links would be cool It might be a little more difficult as you slow down quicker and when you push on the front of the bike some energy will 'soak' in to the gravel. Best to learn on short grass soft landing incase you fall off and won't slow you down so much. If you have front suspension on your bike try to set it a little harder than you would normally have it. Ride at a fast walking pace. Push down on your forks, when you feel them pushing back pull the front up. As you pull up move your arms forward. Like your making an upside down 'j' with your arms. At the same time lift your legs and bend your knees. Ta Dah! When you get used to it you can start to go faster and higher. I always found it better to try and jump over, or on to something when learning how to jump higher. It's also good to get someone to watch to see if your doing something wrong. Source(s): www.chinamtb.com my sister ttoaught me how to do a bunny hop you need to put you hands closest the breaks on ur handle bars. hold on tight, if u dont you will launch ur self off the bike. its like doing a wheelie and endo at the same time. |
