What kind of brakes can fit on a cantilever mount for a bike?

Cantis and v-brakes
Road bikes with cantilever mounts usually only have enough room for cantilever brakes.
Go for V brakes from Shimano:Deore XT 2007 and XTR 2007. The stopping power is awesome.
I'm using one, XT 2007.
'V' brakes
Canti brakes
Magura hydraulic rim brakes

Maybe a disk system with the use of an adapter and disc hub.
