Cycling Computer help?

i have just started getting into cycling and i wont a cycling compueter, you know the type that tell you your speed etc. i was wondering what type to get ideally it should be as cheap as possible although i want it to be reliable waterproof and easy to set up.

Besides speed and mileage the one thing you MUST look for is one that shows you cadence. It will help you become a better rider faster once you know how to use cadence and how to keep a good, consistent rhythm on the bike. It will also teach you how to use your gears much better than just riding alone.

Heart Rate is also another useful tool but I prefer a wrist mounted (that can be mounted on the bike as well) monitor since I also use mine for other sports.
Pretty much all of them meet your requirements. You can find a good selection at Performancebike.com
Go to either performancebike.com or nashbar.com and look up the cycling computers. Any of them will work fine for you. I have one of the $20 dBase computers and it works great. I got it from performancebike.com.
There are a lot of good models under $40.

Try:
nasbar.com
pricepoint.com
performancebike.com

There are many other sites as well. There on sale often too so check the sales out.
