Am i able to become a BMX pro? |
I am 23 and hoping to become sponsored in the future for BMX and hopefully go pro. I have been riding since i was 15 and I am pretty good at dirt jump tricks like Tail whips, bar spins, superman, backflip, 360's etc. Do any of you think it is possible I can go pro at this point because I know people like Matt Hoffman went pro when they were 15 and I am not sure at 23 if I would be able to go pro since they usually want people younger that can do that stuff most likely. so what do you guys think? Sponsors look for talent, but if you worry about that, then your performance will most likely drop. If you concentrate on having fun, keep learning the latest tricks, as well as work on a few of your own, you will be just fine. Have fun, keep a positive attitude, try not to show any anger, and you might just get a few curious scouts/coaches. You are not too old, as long as you don't feel too old. McCoy is in his 40's. Good Luck. Source(s): Retired Racer/Coach talk to who you need to talk to and find out. Work hard bro. There's nothing wrong with giving it your all. Worst thing that can happen is it doesn't pan out how you expected, but you'll find out the journey is more enjoyable than the end that you're working towards. Just keep your head down and keep putting in work, you'll get there. All depends on how bad you want it and how much you practice. You're far from being too old at age 23. Go for it. Just remember that it doesn't matter if you're pro or not. The best reason to ride is because it's fun. Email my husband CoryJarman@aol.com Hes always looking for good riders to ride for blackeye bikes. That is if your even interested. Do you have a sponsor me tape ready? He will most likely want you to send it to him to show the owner and stuff. Blackeyebikes.com |
