Bibshorts-inside/outside your top?? |
I personally wear my (new) bibshorts over a base layer,with a cycling top over that;but friends of mine insist on wearing their bibshorts bare-a****d and then putting a top or t-shirt over that. Which is better?? I maintain that I have no probs with sweat "wicking" away coz of the base layer,but they say it makes them feel too hot in warmer weather..... your way is the way the pros wear them so hi If you want to belong to the cycling tribe you must hew to tribal custom. This means you must dress correctly. So, most defiantly wear your bibs under your jersey. As long as you wear a proper jersey, whether you put the bibs on over or under your baselayer is a matter of comfort and personal choice. One major factor in favor of wearing your base layer under the bibs is ease of getting the bibs down to relieve yourself. In any case, please never make the heinous error of judgment of wearing your bibs over your jersey! That is grounds for instant expulsion from the cycling tribe. While we are on the topic... It is only acceptable to wear bibs with nothing else whatsoever if you are a huge stud of a single speed mountain biker. Just wear your jersey or (cycle top) as the last layer of clothing. For elegance reasons. There are things a gentleman should do! If your favorite movie is Napoleon Dynamite, then wear them outside. If it's Lord of the Rings, or anything else, Inside. i can't stand underwear in my shorts. they bunch, they have seams that can just hurt you bad. to each thier own. as for bibs, definately go under your jersey, and over a base layer since you are wearing a base layer. UNDER. I have seen a few very HOT women wear 'em over with like a spandex crop top on. If you can pull that off then OUTSIDE. where them under your jersey |
